Katriana Peterson AKA "Kat"

Kat was born and raised here in Torrance, California. Her love for animals, all shapes and sizes, was apparent from a very young age. Growing up she had many pets including dogs, rabbits, hamsters, fish, tortoises, lizards, you name it and she’s probably had it! Her first paying jobs were walking the neighborhood dogs and pet sitting for friends and family then eventually working along side horses for over five years. She’s had quite a few family dogs in her life and two special dogs of her own, Bambam and Missy. Missy is her 9 year old rescue she found on the streets in need of a home. Little did she know that rescuing Missy (8 years ago now) would lead her to Spectrum Dogs. She started off as a client but became deeply fascinated with dog training after seeing what is possible when given the right guidance from dedicated trainers. Now it is her goal to continue learning in the dog training world and to help others build a strong and healthy relationship with their four legged companions. She has attended dog training seminars to further her education such as Oregon Tails seminar and courses at Animal Behavior College.
